Full Disclosure

Using this repository will replace some vendor provided RPMs. A few examples are: python, libxml2, sqlite, and yum. Please feel free to peruse the RPM file lists found in the above links.

Of particular importance is that PyVault provides a customized rpm-python package which is distributed by the PyVault maintainer. The package is a distilled version of the RPM Python wrapper enabling it to build against multiple python and RPM versions. The latest source distribution can be found here. The source code can be found in the Trac source code browser.

PyVault will follow the mainstream Vendors for the above packages and ensure 100% compatibility and, where possible, consistency. If you have any comments, please feel free to post to the user's mailing list.
