bug submitter writes that idle -n in Windows works (not
sure, if he tested 2.3.x or 2.4).

idle from 2.4a0 works ok.

Bug exhibits in release23-maint only.
Debian is using unreleased code from CVS, I neglected
testing for -n switch when I checked in 1.81.4.3
