In the highlights the following is listed:

"difflib now supports HTML side-by-side output, as well
as HTML output of its normal behavior."

It should really read:

"difflib now supports generating side-by-side
differences in an HTML format."

(Or steal language from AMK's summary).

What does "the highlights" mean? Misc/NEWS says "difflib
now supports HTML side-by-side diff", which seems clear
enough to me.

If you're talking about something you found on the web site,
then email to webmaster@python.org is a better way to
suggest web site changes (the bug tracker is for things in
Python's CVS repository, like Misc/NEWS, and difflib.py).

Sorry Tim,

highlights means:

No need for that, this webmaster also reads the bug list.
Fixed using Andrew's wording.
