Setup.py doesn't try to build the fpectl module. This patch changes that. |

""" Nobody tries to keep it up to date either, and its primary author said he doesn't think it's used anymore in his institution (or something close to that). I don't think anyone officially deprecated it, though (nobody touches it, not even for that <wink>). It shouldn't be built by default, anyway. |

Logged In: YES user_id=2772 given these responses I think the bug should be closed/wontfix or closed/invalid. No, the module wasn't useful to me---some python-list poster wanted it, and I didn't look around to find out why it wasn't building before filing this patch. |
