The description of the filter() method on
<http://docs.python.org/lib/curses-functions.html> says
"This may be used for enabling cgaracter-at-a-time line
editing without touching the rest of the screen."

cgaracter should likely be character

Note that curses-functions.html is generated from
Doc/lib/libcurses.tex, so the patch should be against this
file instead of the HTML page. Otherwise, you're right of
course.
