To request an update for python.org, the procedure seems to be to create a ticket via:

http://wiki.python.org/moin/PythonWebsiteCreatingNewTickets


which says that self registration is disabled, but sends you to:

http://pydotorg.python.org/pydotorg/newticket


which says that admin privs are required to create a new ticket.

It only says "TICKET_CREATE privileges are required to perform this operation".

In any case, this is discussed on the pydotorg,at,python.org mailing list.
