It would be nice to have a full Visual Studio Solution available for Visual Studio 2005 64, with the proper 64 bit flags set. By hiding it behind the vsextcomp utility,  the options that are being used to make it 64 bit compatible are hidden and could cause issues in the future.

I have converted the solution over to have the necesary compile/link option in a solution file if you want to do this.

That's already available in the PCbuild8 directory. Closing as fixed.

As of the python2.5 build, the pcBuild8 directory did not function properly. I imported from the pcbuild directory and then did my changes from that.

Please try the release25-maint branch. If there are specific problems with it, please submit a new bug report.
