Windows installer comes with TCL/TK 8.3.2.
The latest version of TCL/TK is 8.3.4.
One of the "greatest" features of the latest TCL/TK is
the ability to change window icons.

This isn't "a bug", but it might be a feature request.
Alas, I can't make time to do anything about it, and it's
too late for 2.2 regardless. Setting to Postponed until
after 2.2.

Tim, what version of Tcl/Tk is used on Windows now? Can
this be closed?

As the OP said, 8.3.2 I believe Tcl/Tk is on 8.4.1 now. 8.3.2
was the last version for which we could get an unencumbered
binary distribution, so we'll have to get into the Tcl/Tk
compilation business too if we ever want a version newer than
8.3.2. Asking for it doesn't make it happen <wink>.

Python 2.3 will ship with Tcl/Tk 8.4.1 on Windows.
