Jaguar has a new version of the "install" program (taken from 4.4BSD, according to the man page) which uses copy in stead of move to install stuff. This makes it fail when you re-install Python.

An obvious fix is to use install-sh, but this has the disadvantage of being dead slow.

I can't repeat this anymore, either it's been fixed or it was a mistake in the first place.
