While converting some scripts to Python 2.3a using PythonLauncher, I find that if the script opens a dialog, the dialog can not receive mouse clicks. The only way to dismiss the dialog is the quit the Terminal.

There is some functionality in the open file dialogs in that you can select a file, but none of the other controls work.

Python 2.3a OS X 10.1.5

Bill, I think there's a misunderstanding here. Are you using PythonLauncher from the terminal? It isn't intended to be used as such, for that you should use "pythonw". If this is the problem let me know (it can probably be fixed, or PythonLauncher should complain). If it isn't what you're doing please give me a recipe to repeat this.

Jack
You are right I misunderstood the pythonw thing.

What I did was to change the application to open the file and double clicked on the icon. What I should also have done is to change the file extension to .pyw. When I do that the dialogs work as expected.
