Python sometimes prints messages like
'expecting a <array>, got a <instance>'
This is not English.

Speaking just for myself, I find it pretty hard to care.

Are you interested in working on a patch?

I'm willing to declare that this is not a bug. The messages
are not intended to be correct English - they notoriously
lack a full stop, and don't start with a capital letter
after the colon.

Many messages a verb missing.
